Groups Ticketing Terms & Conditions

You must accept these terms and conditions before you can proceed with your booking.

Please check dates and times before completing your booking as mistakes cannot not be rectified after completion of your booking.

Blue Badge Guide Groups

For your group to be eligible to use online group tickets, you need to be a Blue Badge Guide or a Travel Agency bringing groups with Blue Badge Guides. Our group ratio is one Blue Badge Guide per maximum of twenty people. We are unable to permit entry to any one group that is larger than twenty people.

Your Westminster Abbey Groups ticket

Online group tickets are valid only for the date and time specified. Each ticket contains a unique barcode. Once scanned the online ticket has been redeemed and cannot be reused. Please note that all tickets are single entry only as capacity is strictly controlled.

It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure they arrive at the Abbey at the time stated on their ticket. Westminster Abbey does not guarantee entry with online group tickets when not redeemed at the date and time shown on the ticket.

Online group tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, refunded or be used in conjunction with any type of discount ticket or offer.

In the event that a group ticket cannot be redeemed due to an unadvertised or short-notice closure, Westminster Abbey reserves the right to extend the validity of the ticket or where applicable offer a full refund. Requests of this nature should be emailed to [email protected].

Online group tickets that have been amended, copied or defaced in any way will not be accepted.

Entry to the Abbey

Group entry is via the Cloister Entrance only (via Dean’s Yard). On arrival, please show your ticket to an Abbey Marshal who will scan it and allow entry.

Security searches operate at all entry points. Westminster Abbey retains the right to refuse entry on the grounds of safety and security at any time.

All ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes in law, safety announcements and regulations whilst attending Westminster Abbey. We have the right to refuse admission or to eject you and any other ticket holder from Westminster Abbey if, in our reasonable opinion, admission might be a risk to the safety of others and/or affect the enjoyment of Westminster Abbey by others.

Groups visiting the Abbey are reminded of the following conditions of entry:
